For the first time suppliers of intelligent instruments can stay in touch with all their sold products and continuously monitor their performance, yield and reliability. Furthermore they can enable all subsequent organizations involved in sales, service and support to access information which allows them to significantly improve customer service and support and reduce service / support costs.

ODIS enables intelligent instruments to send ad-hoc error notifications to the local operating or service responsible and/or to the supplier’s customer service center. It also provides a continuous flow of operational data to the supplier’s regional service center and to his global headquarter via remote connections, where our server-sided data integration and consolidation tools prepare for further processing through ODIS Service Intelligence Applications. 

Intelligent systems generate extensive amounts of operational data while doing their job. Log Files, Report Files, History Files etc. store valuable information about usage and performance, material consumption, and –most important– warnings and errors. These data files are mostly provided in single, serial data files using proprietary data structures and data formats.

Until now, this data is not collected by system suppliers due to the large size and due to the data structure which does not allow automated analytical processing.

Regulatory Requirements as well as quality improvement and service cost saving initiatives are causing the need for remote collection, reduction and consolidation of operational data to allow monitoring of system reliability, system performance, usage and consumption, fault prediction and preventive maintenance.

Xeronics fills the gap in most modern DRM (Device Relationship Management) and Remote Service Software solutions by proving the key to global continuous data collection and unification from different sources, different formats and different structures.

ODIS Extractor - a versatile data extraction and purification agent running on every instrument operating at the clients‘ sites continuously collects selected information from multiple different operational data files — even from different product lines !

Extracted data is delivered to the ODIS Server for consolidation and integration. Data transfer can be handled either manually through storage on portable media or fully automated via mobile services or online connection.

ODIS Consolidator integrates and consolidates the collected data and provides reports & benchmarks used as the basis for monitoring, prediction and prevention applications and takes care of data mapping and importing into the ODIS database.

ODIS BI Analyst provides standard business intelligence reports and tools for individual issue analysis, drill down and statistical analysis.
